Your clients, your money, your data

01Your money goes straight to you

Deposits, fees, gift cards, passes, memberships and shop orders are paid by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, straight into your own Stripe account. Mainti never holds your clients' money and never sees their card numbers. We take no commission, and Stripe pays out to your bank on its usual schedule.

02Your client list belongs to you

• Your clients book on your own website and booking link, not a marketplace that shows them other businesses.
• Export your clients, bookings and payments whenever you like.
• We never sell client details, contact your clients for our own marketing, or share them with other businesses.
• Imported clients only get reminders or offers once they opt in themselves.

03How your data is protected

• Everything is encrypted in transit, and the database is encrypted at rest in London.
• Each business can only read its own clients and bookings. This is enforced by the database itself through row-level security, not just by the screens you see.
• Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and are never stored in readable form.
• Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1.
• Photos are resized and any hidden location data is removed before upload.

04Health and consultation answers

Allergy, patch-test and health answers are special category data under UK GDPR. Clients give explicit consent before answering, the answers are visible only to the business they booked with, and they are never used for marketing. Signed consultation forms are saved with the date and time.

05Policies clients have agreed to

Write your own cancellation, deposit and patch-test policies. Clients accept the required ones before they can book, and Mainti records what they accepted and when. If a no-show fee is ever questioned, you have the record.

06No lock-in

There's no contract. Cancel from your dashboard at any time, export everything on the way out, and your clients' data is deleted within 90 days of closing your account.
