Terms of use
Draft, last updated 23 October 2026. Mainti is in early access, and these terms will be replaced with full terms before paid plans begin.
What Mainti is
Mainti is an online tool that lets beauty professionals ("pros") take bookings, record deposits and policies, and remind clients to rebook. Mainti is not a party to the appointment between a pro and their client.
Early access
- The service is offered as it is, while we build it. It may change, have faults, or be unavailable at times.
- Nothing is charged during early access. We'll give notice before billing starts, and you'll choose whether to continue.
- Taking card payments is not available yet. Deposits shown in Mainti are a record, and the pro and client arrange payment between themselves.
Pros
- You're responsible for your services, prices, hours, policies, patch-testing and any health or safety requirements.
- You're the controller of your clients' personal data. Mainti stores it for you, and you must use it lawfully, including getting any consent you need before emailing clients beyond their booking.
- Don't use Mainti to send spam, or to store data you have no right to hold.
Clients
When you request a booking, you ask the pro for an appointment. It isn't confirmed until the pro confirms it. Changes and cancellations online are allowed up to the notice period the pro sets.
Ending your account
You can stop using Mainti at any time and ask us to delete your account and data. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited. Otherwise, during early access, we aren't liable for lost bookings, income or data caused by faults, downtime or changes. Please keep your own record of important appointments.
